Are "Turnkey Products" good for beginners? Has anyone got success in using them? How did you do it?

There are many so-called "Turnkey Products" out on the market. Most claimed to be good for starters in internet business.

My research shows that all these "Turnkey Products" have being on the internet for a while, promoted by so many internet marketers including the "gurus". Most of these products are also out of date.

In one instant, I tried to customize a product to make it my brand. The changes I made were almost 98% making me feel it was just as producing my own brand new product from the box.

If I am correct, I have this understanding that a "Turnkey Product" should be one that you get and plug-in right away for business, either given as a free gift or for a charge, (Is that not why they called them "turnkey products" in the first place?) and that it will help beginners focusing on building the skills needed in the business than on how to develop a new product.

How can I get success with these products, when they are all over the place and most, if not all are out dated?

Any suggestion or idea will be extremely helpful and appreciated.

Thank in advance for your responses.

    Hi Samuel

I agree that some turnkey products look dated, but it depends which ones. You can get fresher newer ones from being a member of a PLR site. Pm if you want to know which one.
The way you can use a turnkey product , is have it configured so its hosted from your website.
Then, one method I can suggest that I've tried successfully is setting up a sales funnel when your building your subscribers email list . It does take a little work setting this up initially.

    Brief summary of setup...
Have a freebie product, like a related ebook ready to give away from an optin form from your autoresponder mail service. Create a landing page for your compelling freebie related to your turnkey product, but not quite the same.

Add a catchy headline and embed your autoresponder form. That form captures your subscribers emails.
From your autoresponder your have your first email configured to provide the ebook to your subscriber. also have a series of email to mail out in intervals if 2-3 days to keep your list interested and offer them discreetly your turnkey product .

To get subscribers, one quick way is buying solo ads from trusted provider,
They send out to their list, the interested subscriber from their list opts in to receive your ebook. Now when they opt in you can have a message to tell to check their email, and you could redirect the page after a few seconds to your turnkey product, your one time offer OTO
The redirect would be also configured from your autoresponder.

You may or may not want to list build, but it has been proven to be a long term business model.

There are many good list building tutorials around. Again if you're interested to know more, you can message me.

That's it in a nut shell, I hope that helps

Hi Samuel, you are better off creating your own product from scratch, which is what you were mostly doing anyway having to customize the turnkey products. Remember, the customer is going to google the product name to get reviews, compare, price shop etc and then they're off! Buying the same thing somewhere else. With your own product you control everything from start to finish. No one can outsell you but YOU!

I think you've made a good point. That's how I started knowing how these products are all over the place. I did a search on Google of the turnkey product I wanted to promote. It was every were and in all kinds of fashion.

      Thanks for your point.

        Hi Samuel

I have had success before with turnkey sites and I have also bought a few of them on here over the years.

What I do find though is that I am so picky, I want to be unique, I have my own ideas of what a good wordpress theme looks like that I end up changing that much that I might as well have started from scratch in the first place.

I also find that you get so obsessed with these turnkey sites as they are so easy to put together that before you have chance to step back you have created 100 of them.

I coach clients on internet marketing and I am always shocked by how many of them have turnkey sites that are not making money. I met one recently on Flippa and he has 120 of them with an average annual income from each one of about $2. Its a case of yes they are all ready to go but you still have to bring traffic to them.

I hope that helps and good luck.

I have to say at least in my experiences turn key products are junk and spammed millions of time across the internet.
