Need to build a sales page... Need some help.

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of creating a sales page and I'm not exactly sure which route to take since I've never created a full on sales page before.

I have a little experience with Kompozer and Optimizepress. Problem with Optimizepress is that their templates are unable to be customized. What I mean is that if the template has a video slot within the template, you're required to have a video to put there. If there's a logo, you gotta have a logo.

I don't have any type of sales video to use right now and don't want to hassle with it until I know what's going to convert and what's not.

I've looked into Lead Pages, and they seem to just be a newer version of optimizpress. I could be wrong though since I haven't purchased it yet, but they do offer sales page templates. So I just wanted to ask you guys what you think the best way is to create a sales page without the use of video or logos. I'm trying to keep this simple to start out with. Any ideas?

    Optimizepress sales pages are fully customizable, you can ad video or not wherever you please.

    Are there training videos in optimize press that will teach you how to customise a sales page? From what I can gather, you can add video where ever you want to, so there should be no problems. I usually just outsource everything for really cheap...works well

    Hi Cory, have you tried Thin Sales Style 1 or 2 (Sales Letter Standard)? For me it appears at the very bottom of the template list. You can also select the wide sales style if you prefer..I personally like the thin one better.

    Go check out Google do a "search" drag and drop squeeze pages, there is a real good one for 97 marketers.
