JVZoo Button Question For You Experts...

Hi guys,

I'm getting ready to launch a product of mine and it requires 2 JVZoo buy buttons.

The first button will be the "Lite" version of the product and the second button will be the "Gold" version of the product per se.

Now, I know I'll have to create 2 separate product buttons to do this, but my question is concerning affiliates.

I want both buttons to be visible on the main page. I've seen this done before but I'm not sure how it works.

Is it possible to have affiliates promote just 1 single affiliate link and still get credit for whether or not someone buys the "Lite" version or the "Gold" version of the product?

Im just afraid that affiliates will have to sign up as an affiliate for both buttons (products) and promote 2 links, which would be a total turn off.

Please let me know if my word choice was not clear.

Any tips or suggestions are highly appreciated!

If I'm not mistaken, the affiliate is automatically cookied for all of the vendor's products, not just the one they promoted the link for.

      Not necessarily.

I had to set up 2 products for my 2 buttons - and it requires affiliates to sign up for both products.

*Edit - I believe you can do an auto-approval for things that are in a specific sales funnel. But if they are 2 separate front end products you may need to set things up differently.

    that's a bummer Jill.

How did that work for you? Was having to promote 2 links a turn off for your affiliates.

I would think JVZoo would have a more effective way to do this.

All I want is for there to be a way for the buyer to choose the "Lite" version of the product or the "Gold" version with the product.

Essentially it's the same product. I know I've seen it done before.

But thanks a lot for your input Jill.

Right - as long as they are approved as an affiliate for each product, they should automatically be cookied for all of the vendor's products, no matter which product they promote.

I've had affiliates make sales this way before, so as long as they haven't changed anything it should still be set up like that.

Sorry about that - I should have included that part in my original post (as long as they are approved for the other products)

I don't think you are cookied for all products within JVZoo

But they have a funnel option where affiliates can sign up for the "funnel" and they get approved for all products in the funnel. I believe you can then just have one listing as the main option and then the second listing set up as an "upsell" in the funnel but put it on the same sales page. This way the affiliate gets approved for both offer since they are approved for the whole funnel.

I believe that would work but you should shoot the JVZ support team a ticket to confirm/deny

There is an affiliate sign-up/information type page you create.

You can mention there for them to apply to both versions.

It's really no hassle, and better to keep products separate.

You want to be very careful about who you pull into affiliates in the beginning and who you decide to allow for instant payments vs delayed.

SunnyDelight Have you checked with the JVZoo helpdesk? They do have a Help Desk don't
    they?

Anyway, if they don't you could ask Warrior E. Brian Rose about it. I'm sure he has the correct
    answer for you.

    Hope that Helps,
    Have a Great Day!

I don't blame you for asking here, I find JVZoos support really bad. They only reply to my queries about 75% of the time and half the time they don't actually answer what I asked them.

There's a much easier way to do this and you only need give your affiliate one link for all products in the funnel. It's been in place for a few months now

Here's a video showing how to set up multiple licenses without having to get them to request multiple links:

There's usually a video for just about anything you need on the youtube channel
      JVZooVideos's channel - YouTube

      or in the knowledge base

Will setting 'Auto approve' for affiliates have the same effect?
ie - First license set to manual approval, then for all other buy buttons, set to auto approve.
This seems a less complicated way than the funnel route.
        Answers appreciated
        Cheers
