I've read a lot about podcasts and a lot about Internet radio and those are two things I have never dived into, but considering of doing. I know there's a lot of directories for podcasts so I do see the advantages of that, but is anyone really having any success with them? Also.. do you prefer internet radio to turn into podcasts or straight out create a podcast? Do you like people who call in? If you are using an internet radio, which service do you prefer? Thank you Warriors! |

I've considered delivering some podcasts to my membership websites but when asked my clients what do they like best: podcasts or video? Video won hands down. Tyrus |

I do video/Youtube as of now and really enjoy it. But I spoke with a friend of mine and he had mentioned podcasts, which got me thinking about the entire thing. I think people enjoy video more too.. but was wondering about the successes of others from podcasts |

To the previous replies, you're saying "go video" as if it's mutually exclusive with respect to podcasts. In fact, the two complement each other! To answer your question, it's my personal opinion that podcasts are more popular and you've got a better chance at getting the word out because (as you mentioned) there are many podcast directories out there. I too am a fan of video. I post videos on YouTube and several other video sites. I then turn my videos into podcasts and submit them to all the directories I have on my list. |

| You're right TheCren. Perhaps the right question is whether his time investment creating a regular podcast makes sense compared with something like regular videos. Obviously, If he has plenty of free time this isn't an issue either.

I prefer podcasts too. I like the control over my time and what I listen to.

There is no comparison between internet radio and podcast (podcasts can be either audio or video) They serve entirely different purposes. unless you are planing on 24-7 marketing message, then podcasting is the best choice. I help run an internet radio station (bringing you the worlds finest original music). Podcasting would be what I would suggest for marketing. Mark Riddle |

Podcast all the way. It's lower maintenance, easier to keep track of, and higher-return because people can listen to it again, share it, etc.
