Two business PayPal accounts?

Hello guys,

I had a question. Yes, I definitely read in the PP FAQ that we can either have 1 business and 1 premier or personal account.

But over searching these past few days, I found mixed opinions on it shared and expressed by various people.

I currently have one business account. And me and my partner is opening up a new business or affiliate business if I may say. If it was just an earning business, the current would be fine.

But as we'll do the payouts, the business name and the email needs to be related to it.

So does anyone has experience or operate multiple PayPal business accounts?

As a side note, I have contacted PayPal.

Thank you.

I have two business accounts though only use one now. No problems so far though you can't link the same bank account or CC to both.

If you have a partner then have 1 of the business accounts in your name and the other in his/her name.

Just wait to see what Paypal says.

      Hey,

Thanks. Yes, linking different credit cards and bank accounts would be no issue.

The other partner has a country problem with PayPal (He's from Serbia).

      Thanks again.

That's why you should seek a definitive answer from PayPal (as you have done): you can see for yourself that where there's conflicting "information", at least some of it may be inaccurate and misleading.

Yes. Many people have. This is simply factual.

You should be able to have separate business accounts for separate businesses. I do not believe that they force you to use the same account for both, but you should definitely check with paypal to make sure. You never want to find things out the hard way with Paypal.

You can run multiple web sites through one PayPal Business Account however, there are limitations. One method that works well for many online businesses is to have a business name that does not associate you with any specific web site. For example, your business name could be Acme Limited. This is the name that would show up on customer's transactions even if they purchased from John's Mower Parts or Mary's Handbags.

You can customize each web site with a different business graphic logo but, because, you are limited to one PayPal Business or Premier Account, your actual business name needs to be neutral.

It's also a good idea to explain to your customers that when they see their statement, the billing company, Acme Limited, is the parent company of John's Mower Parts or Mary's Handbags.

      I know.

The exact phrase as I read on PP community.

      Thanks.
