List Segmenting Experts? Segmenting a 1000 Mixed List,to be segmented into 5 mini lists? best way ?

If you have a list of 1000 subscribers on aweber, and want to offer 5 different types of services to them.
(coaching, SEO services, Designs etc)

I want the 1000 subscribers (mixed IM marketers) to be into segmented into 5 individual separate lists,

eg, mega list of 1000 subscribers, to be separated into the 5 mini lists:
List 1 - Service 1
List 2 - Service 1
List 3 - Service 1
List 4 - Service 1
List 5 - Service 5

what is the best way to go about doing this? -

and if i have my mega list of subscribers, how would you suggest I separate them in into 5 mini lists, of 5 interests of services required

The list is on aweber.
I am happy to create reports, and other things for campaigns.

Should that be done using the survey? or using the aweber ?
or both, but if both how ?

The list is on aweber.
services = coaching, SEO services, Designs etc

I am happy to create reports, and other things for campaigns.

You'd need to segment it based on emails opened and links clicked. So if you send out an email talking about SEO and they open the email and click the link it shows they have an interest in SEO so put them into the SEO segment.

Easy - create 5 squeeze pages on the subjects you want to segment your list with. Then send emails with a link to one of the squeeze pages and use the aweber automation to remove them from the main list when they are added to the "niche" list.

Repeat this with each squeeze page until your list is segmented the way you like.

    Cheers,
    Coby

Great tip. Just looking a way to segment my list of 1000 subs. But wouldn't that be a killer ?

Creating a different squeeze for each of your sub-niches is the best way to go. Get them on a master list first, then have an autoresponder series that promotes your second, third and fourth squeezes to the master list.

Then anytime someone opts-in into the sub-niche list, use the aweber automation rule to have them unsubscribed from the master list.
