When is the best time to hold a webinar / conference call?

I just wanted to draw from the collective wisdom of the group...

Numbers from the last dozen or so webinars I've done, combined with a little online research, seem to indicate that Tuesdays and Thursdays around 11am and 4pm seem to work best for B2B.

I have found that news hours are best, whenever the news is on so usually in the morning 9-11 am or 5-9 pm, I get my best turnouts scheduling my webinars when there is nothing but news on.

Look at what time the news is on in your local era, it's pretty much the same for everywhere else

I think late afternoon/early evening would work best...

  • It is definitely not weekends.

But what I also found it is dependent on the availability of your audience. Many times you can auto generate a conference call and blast it out on-demand to your clients. Kind of like an eBook.

I don't recommend this with a webinar, though, as the interactivity is the selling point many times. And that needs to be authenticated.

I have found that one a Facebook page or sending out a mailer on your list with a survey often helps out finding a primary and a secondary time for a webinar schedule if it is a 1 time thing.

Then you can send out an email to your list saying: Based on the responses, the best times I have for the webinar are: x:00AM/PM

    Again, let your audience decide.

Thanks for the input so far! I'm working primarily with B2B, so if you know whether your info is geared towards B2B or B2c please let me know.

    Thanks!

That's not an easy question to answer as timing is going to depend on your audience and when they are available. You could always ask your audience for their input about the best times for them.
