If i have "500k untargeted USA subscribers" aweber lists , How much I could earn from affiliate ?

      I think it's safe to say there is no relationship, the list is probably bought, we know it's untargeted....he's making no money off this.

      This is yet another example of people taking "the money is in the list" too literally.

      I'm pretty sure that your list is junk. My guess is that you found somewhere on the internet... perhaps on Fiverr... that you can buy a list of 500K on an Aweber account. You do have to factor in that you'll be paying the monthly fee to Aweber for those 500K.

    You can find lists of up to 1 million or more subscribers to download free. They're out there, but they're worth nothing.

    Just random, un-targeted (and spammed to death) email addresses.

    I suppose the easiest way to find out would be to send out a few emails, see what the response rate is and take it from there?

    Email marketing is one of the very few times when size really does NOT matter.

    I would bet I could get many more opens on a targeted list of only 10-20k rather than an untargeted 500k list.

    Without any proof of open rates, conversions, etc no one will want to pay you anything. I'm guessing you want to try and make money by offering this list to others because you were unable to monetize it yourself?

      Is that illegal?
      I have a email list of a database for a MMORPG i used to play with about 150k emails on it.
      Could target game gold to them, but correct me if I'm wrong... Wouldn't that be breaking the law?

      Another question,
      Is it illegal to market (email) my previous customers on eBay? The ones that have purchased from me of course. Just looking to stay out of trouble and out of the slammer

    I think most folks here skipped the "If I have"... question, which is different from "I have" a 500k list. Having 500k optin subs on aweber would cost a pretty penny to maintain since having only 25k subs already would cost you $130 in monthly fees, thus 500k subscribers would cost around $2600 a month in aweber fees, minus whatever discount they give you. Anyone that has the IM experience to grow such a size list (legitimately via optin forms) would most likely not be asking the "how much could I earn" question.

    I absolutely those threads.

    Guy comes along, asks a [rather dumb] question and then does not even bother to look at the answers.

    Now, the answers were also not that bright....

    He says Aweber list and somebody asks whether that are opt-in... wowzer

    I guess the OP just wanted to stir up some conversation.

    In case you do come back and read the answers, here is mine:

    Log in to your Aweber account and send out 1 freaking email. Either directly with some kind of "click her to get free tshirt for bla offer" or with a simple survey "Hey, what's up? Please tell me what you need and want... I'll make sure to deliver it soon... bye"
