Created a Site, Now What

Hello Warriors,

I am a developer and really do not have any marketing skills. I created this site (razorpin.com) out of a couple test projects and was wondering if you could give me some advise on what to do with it, if anything at all.

I was thinking of selling it, but not sure if it has any value. I was also thinking of partnering with someone to market it and continue the dev work 50/50 on any profit. I added a SolveMedia to the login process and have placeholders for banners. It also has the ability to process monthly subscriptions.

I have been able to collect up and sort about 46777 image, 18088 articles and 6363 videos.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Chad

First of all do something for your page's load time. It takes an eternity to load :S

Indeed it does. And there's some great info there -- I'm a gamer - but it's TooMuchInfo.

Cut it down. There's WAY too much info there. Link, baby link... and categorize. Runescape isn't Wizard 101.

The sign up should be alongside the sign in link.
On the phpBB forum, it is called "Log in" / "Register".

And the site logo maybe a bit bigger.

Took awhile to load for me. Probably because of all the images on the first page.

How did you manage to get so much content? Are the articles unique? I also think the sign up link should be next to the sign in link.

If you`re trying to sell it, there are some things to look for. Get some high pr backlinks, so you raise your website PR. This raises the price too. Also, try to get it to rank for some keywords so you have some UVs. Or figure out any other way to get traffic, like social websites (facebook/twitter), PPC and whatnot. When you have enough UVs and a PR that's noticeable you'll have no issue selling it. But I`m sure that at that point you`ll want to keep the website for yourself because then is when you start to make money with it.

It 's not user friendly. Improve the ease of navigation and the loadtime speed.
