Default The Power of Classified Ads

So I decided to try posting my site on three different classified ad services last night (Craigslist, Kijiji, BuySell) and to my surprise when I searched Google for my main keyword this morning, all three listings appeared on the first page!

Not too shabby for free listings!

They are great for short term listings, when your listings expire the links to them become null.

I just put a wso together that points out 42 advertising places that you can do this.

Along with the links you get from your advertising listinga you stand to get some traffic from this as well.

Hi Ed,

When the listings expire couldn't I just run new ads to get ranked again?

Yep. When craigslist ads expire, you can delete the original and put up a new one. Keep a copy of your formatting, HTML, etc., and repost...

yes as it was answered but the listing in Google is not connected to the new listing

I look at this type of promotion as a way to get eyes to your offer and the ranking in Google as a secondary affect a bonus.
