Making sales every single day is not what is important.

What is important is the average number of sales per day.

For example, I would much rather do a launch once a month where I make 1,000+ sales than just have 3 sales every single day. Don't worry about making sales every single day. Just focus your energy on increasing the number of sales you are making.

I agree. It's not about making sales everyday ,but you have to look it at a bigger picture such as will has mentioned avg sales / day, The $$ / sale, and so on.

When, I first started I aways have a 'good' day and 'bad' day every now and then. Some even 'worse' where, I don't only make any sale but, also lose money for paid traffic. But, over time I overcome this by having multiple strems of income.

Trust me build a handful of good streams of income and you will see that sales everyday.

I do have more or less constant sales everyday but I promote physical products that rarely use big launches.

Yes. I make sales everyday, on average, at Fiverr and other channels. The right strategy is all about developing little streams of income that add up to a nice river

    Will is right.
The sales per day is not that important.
The most important is to measure the number and average sales that you make per day.
If you think that you're not even having a sales for certain day I think you need to focused in driving more traffic into your site.

If I wasn't making great sales every day...I would be very worried. Unless one sale brought in a few hundred dollars. If you weren't making sales every day then consider taking a different approach or target a different niche.

I never use to make daily sales untill..... Wait for it.....

    I BUILT A LIST.

Its true, and the best asset you can have for you business.

I use paid traffic to optin page, and make money every day.

But having a list is more powerful.

    1) Not everyone checks email everyday, so sales really come flooding in when i send an email out, then trickle in the following 5 or 6 days....even a week or so later I still see them come in.

    2) I can send email to this list again, give them good stuff...and freebie.

    3) I can send other high end offers to my buyer list that I segregate.

Man! I gotta tell you I owe some much to the warrior forum and listbuilding, I was able to buy house, car and get married due to one thing. List building! Calling it powerful is a bloody understatment. LOL.

Anyway, hope this helps someone out there. If you want to make sales every day, concnetrate on one thing.....BUILDING YOUR LIST. Nothing is better.

I agree with Will but one thing. It's cool to focus on the average number of sales per day or whatever but you have to be able to turn it on whenever you need to.

What I mean is that anyone can do a launch and get lucky. Or even send a real good email to their list and blow it up. But it takes skill to be able to do that consistently in any business.

If you know for a fact that you can put together 1,000 sales in a launch and do it without barely thinking, focus on the average number of sales. But if you can't do that then you need to focus on the process more then the actual number of sales you make.

    Get into recurring income.

That way you're not starting each day at "zero".

There are days where I don't get any sales at all, but I tend to have some pretty consistent bursts where I would get a large amounts to make up for the days I don't get anything. The highest I've ever gone without sales is 2 days. One day I won't get anything, but I'll get a large amount when I get up in the morning on the next day.

I tend to save alot, so I'm always ready to pay my mortgage/bills/food. I've been consistently lucky to get the bare minimum for my living expenses during the first half of the month.

Regardless, I'm still making 3x what I was earning at my old 9-5 and I still jump for joy every time I earn a penny online.

    • Everyday like clockwork. It's almost like magic. But, . . . of course it isn't.
Good old hard work, a plan to implement and the persistence to see it through.
That's what I do. Thanks for the post.

      why stop at one.

Dude! if you are making one sale, all you have to do to make 4-5 sales a day is upscale what you are doing, and outsource it all.

I must tell you, that having 1 sale a day, you have broken the core secrets 99%.... so all you have to do to make more is upscale, and test a bit more.

I found it hard going from 0 zero sales .....but then when I saw 1 sale a day came in, I went to 4.....5.....9 sales a day easy.

I agree making my first sale took a looooong time, but after you get one sale a day, you have broken the mould and there is not stopping you getting much more like 3-5 sales a day, with hardly any work, I am not joking.

No it varies and isn't consistent. What's worse are the days that I not only don't make any sales, though actually lose money. Log into PayPal and see only debits that were done automatically from affiliate refunds. Or get a few sales one day and refunds at the same time negating the profits.

Consistant sales takes time. You need a bigger better list that you have nice repore with. That is what works for our niches.

If you are getting refunds that is fine...here are 4 simple ways to reduce REFUNDS.

          1) Realise refunds are normal, infact there is no one around them, just make sure you spot serial refunds, and ban them, or blacklist their IP address. It will save you lots of hassle.

          2) Make sure when they have bought follow them up. (yes tell them you are are real person if they have a question just asked) This increased our sales later by 19%

          3) Give them a nice freebie after they have bought. If you are in the dog niche say this "Hi here is an ebook (WORTH $97) on how to train your dog on how to get you a beer from the fridge in 5 days" LOL. Anyway it has to be a good ebook, and give them value. Doing this, and giving them value after their purchase will decrease refunds, trust me.

          4) Study the buyer remorse, and also ask your customers why they refund, sometimes this can be a simple thing like "this software didnt work" or "I couldnt download the ebook"

You will be surprised at how silly reasons someone refunds, that is a technical fault, so make sure you say thanks for trying the product and then ask them why. This has helped up descrease our refunds, and increase recurring incomes.

Realise you will not stop all refunds, but you can decrease them dramatically by using these tips above. Hope it helps.

It depends on what you are selling and what's the average profit you get from a sale. I don't get sales every day from one niche, but 10 sales per month will pay the bills. I get 3-4 sales from another niche and I get to go to the movies once or twice a week for that money. It's never about the number of sales you get, it's how much it equals in dollars.

I wish to have sales every day from single product/niche but it is hard to achive without large promotion and list building. Better of course think about sales as average daily sales (monthly sales / 30).

Thankfully, I make sales everyday. If you offers / copy converts well and you're driving quality traffic / leads, regular sales should not be a problem.

No, I don't make sales everyday of the year, but most days I make sales, but some days more than others.

It comes down to how and where you are promoting your product and being active at it daily to build your list and getting your sales page, etc. seen.

    All the best,

    Martin

Yeah i make sales as good as every day, but it takes a lot of sources to achieve that i think online. From my experience it takes several different sources to achieve sales, such as affiliate sales, own products, email marketing etc...

My advice would be to focus on one source of income first and build them up until you got about 5, and then spread your efforts amongst them. Then in time you'll make sales every single day no doubt!

I don't make sales everyday but regardless of whether you care about making a sale a day or how many average sales you make a day...

I personally think it's a very worthwhile goal to set.

For people starting out I think it's healthier focusing on making your first sale. Then making sales regularly and if that means 'a sale a day' then so be it.

Working online and off I think its good to have leads or sales coming in regularly and -- ideally -- as close to organically as possible. That way you have a base level you can boost with events and launches.

Good to hear some folks making their living from marketing. That must be a lot of pressure, when you don't have an offline income! I don't know if I could live like that - well done all!
