Default email mini-course

Hi

I need some advice on the 5 day email mini course I am putting together.

I bought a 5 article PLR pack and it's really good content. Perfect for my needs. Each article is around 450 words. Once I add all the stuff around that (contact details, heading, and all the other good things I see in Jimmy D. Brown's template!) it will be on average over 500 words. To me that seems quite a lot for an email.

So my question is ... is there a rule of thumb for the number of words in a daily email mini-course?

Thanks!

Tony

Not really, Tony. Mine usually run 600 to 700 words and I've never once heard a "too long" comment from a client or one of their customers. As long as your email is doing its job, I think 500 words is fine.

If you want to know more, I have a free video that addresses this very question. Just click the YouTube link at the left and look for the video titled, "How Long Should My Emails Be?"

As long as your ecourse "does what you say it will do" then I don't think there's a number you can put on it. Make your course as informative as you can or else you'll lose your list.

Then again... don't send them an encyclopedia-worth of info in one email... I guess it depends on the content. If you can deliver your point in less than 500 words, then that should be fine.

Thank you.

I watched the video, it was great and I'll investigate your website also.
