Opt In page Templates

Hey Everyone,

So I got some new opt in page templates. The files are .php

I'm not sure how to edit these or upload them? Do I have to change the file extension or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Upload them to your folder/domain via your FTP.

If you name the main PHP files index.php it will show up online.

What squeeze package do you have? Because it seems you ALREADY have a squeeze page working...so this thread is not accurate

You will need a code editor:
Notepad++ Home
And then a local server
apache friends - xampp
Install local server for php testing:
3 Ways to Set up a Personal Web Server with XAMPP - wikiHow
Even if you want to test wordpress themes:
Using XAMPP for Local WordPress Theme Development

Once notepad++ is installed, put the mouse over the php file you want to edit, right-click on mouse, and click on "edit with ==>Notepad++"
Now you can edit it.

It should be an index.php that is the main one. All files should be located in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\
Example : C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\yourtestfolder\

To run files and test them live on your local server:
h ttp://localhost/yourtestfolder/hereisthefileyouwanttotest-example-index.php

Once they are edited use FTP filezilla to upload them. Make sure your webhost support php5.

I use Dreamweaver to edit mine.

You can do a Google search for a "free dreamweaver alternative" or download a dreamweaver trial to get started.

Like Greedy said, you can just upload them into your hosting account but I'm assuming you'll want to set the pages up with your own opt-in form code before they go live. Which is why you'll need a program like DW to edit the code.
