Hi. I have an ongoing, difficult problem with some of my WordPress sites, and I am hoping some of you may be able to help. The problem is that the back-end admin panel pages for 3 of my Wordpress sites are very slow to load. I first noticed the problem a few days ago when I noticed that logging in to the admin panel is very slow. It may take 5 to 10 minutes to log in. Also, moving from page to page in the admin panel is very, very slow. I was informed by the tech support of the hosting company that the problem may be due to the memory limits set in the php.ini script. However, this is a recent problem that started only in the last several days. Also, one of the sites is no more than a fantastico install and there are no other scripts running or complicated templates installed. So this site shouldn't have a problem with the admin panel loading. Anyway, I would appreciate your thoughts and advice on this as I'm stumped for the moment. Much obliged, Evan |
