I published a book on vocal performance and am looking for bloggers / JVs / websites to sell it on

Hi fellow warriors! I've been off the forums for a bit as I wrote a book on vocal performance that I have been selling when I or my partner teach voice and performance workshops and classes as conventions.

I want to set up a way to offer it through affiliates in the performance / vocal training / singing / music genre and distribute it electronically or in print.

It is on amazon, but the payoff is so little that I'd rather sell direct.

We have it on our website but I want to expand sales beyond our selves.

I am asking for ideas about the best way to market it online (build a clickbank type of page, just have people advertise it, build a bunch of web sites?). You can see the book here.

    The fastest way to get started would be to use your current page and add a clickbank buy now button instead. Obviously you will have to sign up to CB first and go through the approval process etc.

    Note: You should then get rid of the regular Paypal button, and don't have any other way to purchase your book on the same site, or too many leaks, since Clickbank affiliates will frown on that because they will lose commissions if they spend their time, energy and funds driving visitors to your site, only to lose the sale because a customer chose not to pay via the Clickbank button.

    The other preferred way (in my opinion) would be to build a completely separate mini site for this product to promote to customers and affililates. (maybe have someone update the graphics and create a fresh look).

    I would also suggest adding an updated chapter to your book so that you will be able to state: (c) 2011, updated for 2013. (I personally rarely purchase any books where the last print is more than a year old.)

    Go and find other people in your industry who are selling products that are complimentary to yours -- not in direct competition. Also look for those people who have newsletters in your industry and you can do an affiliate promotion or solo ad with them. Just basically look for those people who already have a targeted audience of the people you want to sell to.

      Thank you for the ideas. I found both of your posts helpful. I also have updated it in January, so thank you for the reminder about adding the update information for 2013.
      I think I have to get my co-author to agree with me but I love the clickbank and cross promotion ideas.
