Guys, How can I have positive ROI with Facebook PPC?

Hello Dear Warriors,

I have an information product and it's price is $97! I want to use paid traffic and to be more specific Facebook ppc! Facebook suggests me to pay $0,85 for a click and generally speaking let's say we pay $1 for click.

Assuming than if my sales funnel is ok and if I get targeted traffic I leanrt that every 100 visitors I will have 1 customer right? So if this is how things work I will spend $100 and I will make $97.

Instead of winning some bucks, (I am not very good at maths but) in this situation I simply lose $3 every $100 I spend to Facebook PPC.

Do I need to sell multiply products to see a better day and to be more happy?

I will really appreciate if someone here can help me!!

Thank you,
Zourkas

  • To see a positive R.O.I. with FB ads, I personally think that marketers would be better off collecting targeted leads first with a free offer in order to get them into a funnel, and then working on following up with multiple related products for the long haul. Spending $1 a click and trying to earn it back with a $97 product right from the start, a marketer would need 1 out of 97 people to purchase in order to break even. And for that to happen, the odds might not be in your favor, and it also makes little sense to spend that much for a lead, unless you earn it back (as mentioned) via your follow ups over time.

Thank you stoltingmediagroup for answering. Do you think that I can get less than $1 per click?

Yes I think you can. But I think you should also try to come up with creative ideas in order to capture the "same target customer or lead" for less than a dollar somewhere else other than Facebook. It sounds like the keywords you use, or the specific demographic you are targeting on Facebook is costing you allot. Maybe think of creative ways to spend $100, and be able to get more than 100 targeted leads or even a customer or two for your $97 product. It has to be possible don't you think?

You need to target people who know whom you are and run through these numbers before asking for a sale that big:

    1) Convince the reader that s/he has a problem
    2) Describe the solution to the problem
    3) Position your product/service as the ideal solution based on USP
    4) Make the viewer accept your price/value proposition
    5) Ask for the sale

Did you put your product price on the FB ads? By doing this, you will filter out people that don't want to spend money for a product at that price. And hopefully you will need less than 100 clicks to get 1 sales.. Just split test it, and see the outcome.

From any advertising source you MUST build a list. Capture their information so you can market to them multiple times over a period of time. DO NOT try and go straight for the sale directly from an ad of any kind.

Ad ---> Freebie ---> Freebie Delivery Page ---> Product Sales Page...
Autoresponder setup to deliver multiple advertorials about your subject.

Hey Zourkas, the product you're promoting should have really good conversions in the market. As everyone has mentioned in the earlier posts, make sure you get people to an opt-in page and get their name and e-mail. I strongly suggest you tell them what you're going to give them - it should be a free demo of the product on the thank you page - don't go directly to the sales page.

The product I am promoting takes them immediately to a video that is engaging and that gives away from free tips. This marketing system works really well

    What product are you promoting?

Custom audiences with Facebook ads is the answer.

Clicks are way cheaper that way.

    Hi!

Thank you very much for helping me guys!!!! I am in IM niche by the way!

I don't have any awesome success to be proud of yet, but I work about 6 hours/day in IM.

I know that you need about 10.000 hours of practice to achieve the master level in anything, and my instict says that approximately 3 years are enough to make money online

    thank you,

    Hi there,

    A few suggestions:

-Is the product yours? Have you considered selling a premium priced product.. lifting your price means you can afford to have a higher cost per lead, as long as you confident with your sales/copywriting skills.
-Add an upsell/cross-sell of a related product on check out; a certain % of buyers will take up the offer and this will increase your average sale
-Strong follow-up autoresponder sequence on leads that didn't buy

    hope it helps,
    Zach

I have outsourced the product creation. I think I have pretty good sales funnel but I didn't test it, yet Zach!
