Buying PR5 Domain, Worthy or Not Worthy?

I found some PR5 aged domain using a paid software. These are:

ethiohotel.com
fortyninernation.com

The question is whether I should buy it or not. What do you guys think?

P.S I am not going to buy this domain. Posted the domains to see other's opinion if it is worth buying.

I would remove the domains from this thread, what if someone else snaps the domains up right out from under you?

@eternalwarrior do you know if those domains were build legitimately with their link profile? It isn't too difficult to be able to artificially increase a sites PR buy buying a bunch of paid links.

When I'm doing SEO I'll sometimes buy guest blog posts by high rank PR sites that are really junky and just waiting to get hit with penalties. I'm talking sites that have like 200 pages of horribly written content, but end up with high PR because people are willing to pay for a link on the site. All they are doing to inflate the PR is buy backlinks until it gets taken down. After which they will just put another site up and do the same thing.

Just get an idea on how they built the PR reputation before you spend the money.

      HI eternal,

Unfortunately you can't go about buying aged domains like this. Even if they were any good by now you would have only brought on more people interested in getting it.

However none of the sites have links from what I see . In addition no PR tool can be depended on to show whther PR is being faked

Download seospyglass at least and check the backlinks of any domain you are looking to buy

      and bare minimum do a

      info:domain.com search directly at google.

IF the site matches and it shows the PR (with seoquake installed in yur browser - chrome or firefox) then it has a better chance of being real PR

If you can get them at a good price, and you have an idea for how to develop them into websites, then yes buy them. I wouldn't spend too much on them though, pr rank isn't worth much these days.
