How to get traffic without Google Position

Hi,

It is really not good to depend on Google for traffic. Is there anyway for marketing so I can get traffic without top position in Google. Please advise me some ways so I can get traffic.

Thanks

Bing can have much cheaper pay per click ads then Google, they might be worth a try. Also posting your services on the Warrior Forum Classifieds can be another great way to get traffic.

@memon421 there are tons of different traffic sources. Some are easier to find some certain niches than others. What kind of business are you looking to promote? Offline or Online?

I agree .. Paid or Free

Below is just a few of the options. Paid will always be quicker, while Free takes a bit more time, but still very effective. I suggest using both.

      Paid
      • PPC
      • Facebook Ads (link to a page or Youtube, its cheaper)
      • Forum Marketing
      • Solo Ads (be carefull what you buy)

      Free
      • Articles
      • Youtube (very effecient)
      • Facebook Pages
      • Web 2.0, Blogging (best from authority sites), other Social Media

What will be advantage of articles? Google page rank or traffic? Many experts say that article directories worth nothing, Google do not benefits directories except few like ezine. If I make many regular backlinks to article directories then Google can penalize my site? Please guide what is fact and what is myth? Very confused!!

Article directories like Ezinearticles can provide you with high quality traffic. That site gets a lot of people on it that are searching for answers to there problems. If you are looked at as an expert, the person that HAS ALREADY read your article, and clicked through to your site, is very likely to be a high quality lead.

Article marketing is actually a method that some very good marketers use effectively. Look up a guy named Sean Mize. He is like the king of article marketing and has posted thousands of articles on Ezine articles that bring his sites traffic.

Just make sure you are providing information to problems people are looking for answers to, and you could do very well with article marketing.

Targeted traffic, by getting them published where the targeted traffic you want to attract is already reading/looking.

Article marketing isn't primarily about SEO at all (though there can be some very good SEO side-benefits from it, too). This post explains the point (especially the last paragraph): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5035794

Their backlinks are worth nothing. And for all the reasons explained in this post no article marketer would want potential customer traffic coming to their own site via an article directory where they'd lose most of the traffic.

Even backlinks in Ezine Articles are worthless. They were close-to-worthless even before all the Panda updates decimated the SEO potential of article directories. They're only non-context-relevant PR-0 backlinks.

Ezine Articles does have a potential place in article marketing, but not because of the directory's own backlinks.

Google can (and will) penalize sites for mass backlinks on non-relevant sites. Using automated submission to multiple article directories is crazy. Nobody's suggesting you'll be penalized for putting a copy of each of your articles in Ezine Articles after publishing it yourself and having it indexed on your own site. The problems arise from mass article directory backlinks.

Doing a search for threads in the Main Marketing Forum with the word "traffic" in their titles will help you.

Google was generous more than ten years, but now it seems that if you want to get results you have to use your Adwords account, or other paid methods. Now everything is becoming harder and harder and getting free traffic is more than a challenge.

You have to spend hours doing many things without having the positive results you used to have in the past, when it was so easy to get to Google’s first page.

I quit drinking the 'top of Google' Kool-ade when, in spite of my best efforts, my logs showed very little of my search traffic came from the keywords I was trying to target.

Then I focused on putting my content in front of real people without worrying about # of searches or some phony baloney competition formula. Most of my search traffic still comes from keywords I wouldn't think of trying to target, but the folks that do show up are already interested in what I have to show them...

You may use Facebook, you tube and twitter to gain traffic. When you continuously update your webpage with the unique content, your webpage will be easily cached by various search engine. Make sure that "Google" is not the only search engine to get traffic, therefore you can concentrate on other search engines like Bing and yahoo.
