There is no point trying to "game" the system, be genuine, and answer questions that people are asking related to your niche. It takes time, but anything worth doing always does.

Agreed...As long as you are answering questions in a non-spam way and adding value then you can be successful with Yahoo answers....Eventually many of the questions you answered will get indexed in Google....Try to add enough value where your answer will be voted as "best answer" that way you will look like an expert in your niche and you can occasionally leave a link to your site, video, squeeze page, etc....Best of luck!

I would try moving to something better/exploring other Q&A sites like Quora. Quora is by far a superior site and seems to be driving more engaged traffic. Of course, the audience is more technical so it might not make sense for you

The best way is to answer other people's questions. Quality answers will get you the best results.

In the past I used to create lots of questions based on keywords I wanted to target and then answered them with other accounts I created with links to my sites in the source. Some people will frown upon this method, I don't see any problem with it. It still works to this day and when those questions start ranking you will be receiving good, targeted traffic from all those long tail keywords the questions have ranked for.

Another way is to simply find the category/sub category that has questions that relate to your niche and try and get in first to answer the questions, obviously with your site in the source. There is software out there which can do both for you basically fully automated.
