Problems Using Ebay

So I've had an insane amount of trouble with ebay in my time with IM. I just received notice my account was perma-banned (literally no warnings. They claimed to have called my phone twice over a 2 week period).

Has anyone else had trouble with ebay?

Also, are there any other websites similar to ebay you guys recommend?

    hi there,
    Is it a problem with ebay or is it with using Paypal that you you are having? They are joined at the hip you know. It is difficult getting back on the right side of these folks if you did something against there TOS agreement. But I have also used ubid.com, ioffer.com, sell.com, amazon.com, and a couple others with much success so you may want to try using one of those. You can find many more if you just do a search for them.

    Thanks for the info guys, I'll check out those websites!

    Also, I was selling ebooks (Yeah, technically against their TOS, but you'll see tons of guys who have sold Hundreds of ebooks on ebay, and they have yet to be banned)

    Yes - Stay away from eBooks! Digital media is against eBay's TOS - for sure.

    It sucks you got your eBay account banned, but you don't have to go down without a fight.

    You can talk to them and tell them and essentially tell then you're not going to do it again - and any act of contrition you can do, you'll comply.

    You're only there to make eBay a better place, and you agree with their most basic tenant - that 'people are all basically, good'.
