I've considered that be a web hosting reseller but I've seen many threads refering to it's customer service and technical suports would be so in the shit as a hosting reseller.

Then, is it impossible that make parent company control all of technical supports and customer services? If that is done, I guess it may be worthy of doing.

The answer is no. We host hundreds of sites as a reseller, but ONLY as a result of other services we offer and we are not cheap
IMHO not worth the effort to make money just off of hosting.

  • As a reseller, you provide support for your customers in most cases.
You can sometimes fix certain technical issues for your clients if you are technically inclined to do so. For bigger issues you would have to contact your actual host to support you if you are unable to handle your customers issue by yourself. If you want to avoid all of that, then being an "affiliate" for a hosting company is your only other option.

There are some companies like GoDaddy and ResellersPanel that will provide all the support to your customers with their reseller plans. Search for "hosting reseller end user support"

Yes & no. There are some companies that offer end user support however, I would not want a 3rd party supporting my customers.

If you're just a reseller, most companies will support the account itself on the server, but will deal directly with you - not with your customers. For example, you host a customer site that throws some sort of error, you must work with the hosting company to determine what the issue is and then relay that to your customer, if that makes sense.
