How to find relevant websites in your niche?

Looking for a way to find relevant websites in my niche.

The idea is harvest websites that I could approach to do guest posting, backlinking, etc.

Is there software that allows you to type in the keyword and generate a report of websites that are based upon that niche?

Cheers

Keywords are very ambiguous. And you won't get this elusive, mythical report you're looking for.

Forums are a great spot to start digging.

search Google for topic+forum for example guitar+forum brings up a ton of guitar forums.

Software isn't always the answer. Actually looking up these forums, visiting them and participating in the discussions has a LOT of value. You learn the language/tone of the group, you build trust amount the members.

      Totally valuable spying.

Technorati will give you a list o the most popular blogs for your list, as will Google. Directory of Ezines will give you massive audiences to reach. Blogger Link Up can be a good starting point. Searching "niche" + "powered by Wordpress" will give you a list of wordpress blogs. Searching "niche" + "write for us" will return a list of sites looking for guest content.

That's just Ezines and Google. Search Twitter and reach out to people there that maintain blogs, same with facebook, pinterest, and linkedin. Do everything I just posted and you'll be busy for at least a month and probably have 1000+ people to contact depending on the size of the niche. No software needed :-)
