Besides Search Engines, What Other Traffic Sources

My wife and I have always focused our business around search engine traffic, but I know many forum members say that search traffic is small percentage of their traffic.

So besides search engines, what is your favorite method of traffic??

hmmmm let me answer for me its ppv but there are a olot of good traffic sources out there ppc or free traffic like social media but there is nogood traffic or bad(well for me) it is how targeted that traffic is lets say i am in the making money niche and i bid in the weight loss niche then the results would be crappy. and also depends from your product(cpa, physical product, digital product) i hope this helps

Some high quality traffic sources are:

    Article directories like Ezinearticles.
    Solo Ads
Guest Blog Posts on high quality blogs
    YouTube videos

I know there are tons of other sources, but all of those are high quality and completely independent of search engine traffic. (I guess YouTube is a search engine, but it's not like traditional.)

Just be consistent and start building your reputation. If you stay consistent you will start finding an audience that likes you and trusts you.

    I hope this helps.

StumbleUpon is usually awesome. Facebook and twitter if you have targeted fans and followers. But search engine is really good if you can rank in the top results for many different keywords.

It all comes down to what your content is and how you want to get yourself in front of an audience.

It comes down to what options you have that will even make a difference.

If you are focusing on traffic generation techniques that just don't adequately connect with your product/service/business style, then you are just wasting time.

I would say first step is to study. Some Warriors have already given some good lists of options, now the task is to learn how using those options works.

Organize your options and test, you will be able to tell which options work well for you rather fast.

A good example would be something like a basic Amazon Affiliate page.

What you don't do is spend all your money on SEO and Social Media, because the fact is most online purchasers are becoming immune to the quick easy affiliate pages and social media linking.

HOWEVER, what you could do is begin Article Marketing focusing on specific topics that include your affiliate products.

This way people are coming to you to READ, not to just BUY, whilst they are reading all it is doing is building the value for their future purchase, most likely through you.

Now remember this is just an example of how things work differently with each person or business. It comes down to you.

What do you enjoy doing x What is relevant and effective = Result.

      Good Luck!

Think it really depends on the niche

It doesn't depend on the niche.

The problem is, no one bothers to track or measure anything.

Well I track and measure like nobody's business, and have been for over a decade - the niche means everything - the source of the traffic has to be on-topic.

Hey gang - thank you very much for the great ideas. It sure does depend on what your niche is when deciding on which traffic sources you go after.

I swear some people's entire business model is based on Ezine and Hubpages.
