Can Clickbank ads dramatically reduce rankings of the site with over 200 pages?
I have a site that has over 200,000 UV monthly with Adsense ads. About 2-3 weeks ago I added Clickbank ads to some pages of the same site.
About 3 days ago, rankings of my pages dropped about 2 times. I discovered this after finding out about a 60% drop in Google traffic.
I have heard stories before that adding Clickbank ads can harm the site. Did anyone know about this effect?:confused:
This may have other causes (not just Clickbank ads) too, but over 200 pages of the same site got double drop in their traffic and nearly double reduction in rankings for main and secondary keywords (from #2 to #4-6, from #3 to #7-8, from #1 to #3-4, etc.).
What can it be since sandbox effect is usually more severe?
