unable to get to next level

well, I have made money in areas like adsense, clickbank, amazon, affiliate products, kindle to the tune of 2000-3000 dollars till now in total, but unable to make a full time living from any of them. any advice? I am a self learner and bought very few training/courses. I feel I need to build a list and stick to one thing.

An old saying comes to mind here...

"Jack of all trades, master of none..."

    Here is your problem...

"adsense, clickbank, amazon, affiliate products, kindle"

    Here is your solution...

FOCUS. Focus on one thing and do it until you make it work.

You are an opportunity seeker and that's why you try to dabble in everything. You will never succeed being an opportunity seeker because the next time something new comes along you will drop everything and move on to that.

You need to stop that cycle.

Remove yourself from all temptations such as mailing lists. Pick ONE thing and do only that.

maybe you need to focus on one thing and master it instead of trying so much, am just saying.

WillR's on to something.... Focus on ONE site. Focus on ONE method. Master it. Create a system THEN you can move on. The problem is you learn something just enough to get some results then you move on. You are never going to scale up if you do things this way.

Build an online business selling your own digital downloads through an affiliate network:

    1. Start with a brand name and logo
    2. Build a site, blog, facebook, twitter, etc.
    3. Start making products
    4. Build your list and social followings by offering high value content for free.
    5. Sell products to your community.

    repeat and scale.

That is the exact model I use for my danosongs royalty free music site for the past 5 years.

Thanks guys, advice taken. I will start concentrating on one thing. I feel building a blog and creating my own products to promote on the blog and building a list simultaneously is the way to go forward than dabbling in everything.

It sounds to me like you have plenty of empirical experience to offer new folks coming in - if you'd build a list and really seek to serve them, you could easily make a full time living from that (is my exact M.O.)

Resist thinking of blogging as the only 'doorway' to yourself though - when it works best as literally only one doorway.

Think instead of crafting irresistible offers around whatever it is you want to sell to your audience (this thing or things whether your own product or someone else's should help them solve their problems - not be about you getting what you want)... and your whole marketing experience will shift for the better.

Given your thoughtful replies on different threads here on WF - I know you can do this... just change gears a hair like dndoseller and Art in particular have so aptly outlined.

I think the key message is here, is pick one and stick to it. You could become a go to expert in terms of helping others succeed in this area. You obviously have already had some success, have you got proof and testimonials around what you did?

You could create a product around how you did it? Build your brand and presence online around one of these areas that you love and build build build.
