I read this in a different

"Info marketers sell information. That is their product. You sell a service... translation. You are not scale-able. "

What types of business models (things to do online) that are scalable?

Back when I specialized just in lead generation, we would build out a website for every workable real estate market...state by state.

When you think about how many markets are just in the US alone, you can see how big of a project this was. This was a scalable model...being, that once you had a workable idea, the thought was to do the same thing over and over.

Now, I have a couple of small niche projects that are definitely not scalable....but they don't have to be. They fit in a very tight niche, to serve a very small, but loyal, group of customers.

The definition of "scalability" that I wrote in my latest book was this:

"The ability of a technology or business system to adapt easily to increased volume and to maintain or improve profitability without requiring significant additional resources." (Click Millionaires, AMACOM, 2012, p. 52)

In plain English, "scaling well" means that your business can grow without requiring lots more money and with less of your personal involvement, too.

So if you sell donuts you need to make another donut every time a customer buys one. Possibly profitable but not very scalable.

But if you use software to sell digital copies online, you create and post the work once, then can keep selling indefinitely. That's scalable.

      I hope that's helpful.

Anything can be scaleable it is just a matter or how.

You may have to hire a team, build some software, train coaches under you, or outsource.

So focus more on the how verse if it can be done. Because its always possible.
