There are 2 trains of thought on this one I believe. The first one is that you should play your cards closely and give nothing away. We all know that a good idea is often replicated once released to the public so you could be shooting yourself in the foot. The second one is that idea's can grow and expand when brainstorming with peers. In this case there are plenty of times where an initial idea has evolved into something far greater than the original nucleus due to sourcing feedback and surveying opinions. I can see the merits in both, I'm just really keen to hear what everyone else has to say on the subject... |

Brainstorming with a couple marketing friends is a good idea - releasing your ideas/projects/niches in detail on a public forum can lead to others quickly copying it if it has good potential. kay |

Always play your cards close to the vest. Ask general questions regarding specific areas of interest and put the pieces together.
