How Do You Build A List Of Buyers In Two Weeks?

There's this product that I want to promote that is being launched to the mainstream market in two weeks. It's a really good product that I believe would sell its self. The problem is that I don't currently even have a foot in this market yet, no website, etc. I would like to build a list within these two weeks to promote this product. I've never really built a list though so I don't know how to go about it.

What can I do to build a massive list in two weeks?

If you believe the product will sell itself, why not part with the pain of building a funnel to route traffic and simply focus on media buys to route traffic as an affiliate to the site itself?

Each step in your funnel is going to reduce your "list" by at least 80% as you go from traffic to a freebie opt in to a paid offer.

May as well purchase targeted traffic for the offer. Just don't burn yourself. Start statistically significant but small so you know which ads work best with which targeted segments....then drop the hammer.

I really do feel like the product would sell itself but I've never done anything with media buys. What is the cost of it? And can you recommend any good programs to get an understanding of it?

I'm a bit partial because I'm a partner of Tom's but I'm a HUGE fan of using ClickCertain to route the traffic.

CC allows you to target across over 10,000 data points ranging from everything you can think of to "get at" your clients.

In fact, Target is running similar proprietary software was marketing maternal offers to a young woman and her father deduced she was pregnant before being told by the woman simply using her computer!

Anyhow--we can score HIGHLY targeted, buyer qualified, niche traffic for roughly $1.69 CPM.

The key here is to direct them to a URL you own that has a php script embedded to "cookie" the traffic and redirect them to your affiliate offer with your affiliate link in a fraction of a second.

You now possess a list of everyone who has clicked your ad and seen your offer.

Now we can retarget them across 97% of the websites across the net ranging from Fox News to ESPN to Billy Bobs BBQ Blog for $0.10 to $0.40 CPM.

Cheap-highly targeted-qualified traffic. It's all about driving your cost per sale as close to zero as you can go.

Best part is you also now have an asset. That IP address database will prove lucrative if marketed to the *right* warriors....

        Very respectfully,

        Lane

Run solo ads to lists with subscribers in the hundreds of thousands.

Build very targeted Facebook fanpage, really engage the users,
and get them onto a list by selling them something.

Roll out series of simple, inexpensive reports via an affiliate
program offering 100% commission, and recruit affiliates
    like crazy.

You timeframe is rather tight, so expect to put in a lot of work :-)

use free hosting site to host your product, then promote it in affiliate offer or run a campaign in a forum.

Another option that hasn't been mentioned...

Find a product creator in that niche and offer to create a bonus for their download page in exchange for an opt-in...

I've done this on WSO's and got over 2,000 optins from just one WSO. Granted that was the "best" case scenario but I've done it with other folks and easily got 100-500 optins in a short amount of time. And the best part is that these are all buyers.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Coby

P.S. This would also work on "freebie" download pages - but you wouldn't be building a "buyers" list.

That's an interesting idea that I've never thought of before. So you create a related bonus to their main offer and tell them they can add a link to your squeeze page on their download page? And they don't mind their buyers are being funneled into someone elses list?

      Am I understanding that right?

    Two ways only;
Affiliates/Jv partners already have buyers, promote your jv page to them.
Solo ads; sellers have lists of buyers but they come at a cost

I you have a budget, then solo ads would be the way to go i think.

And if your product is really good, you'll eanr your investment back anyways so depends on how much you trust your own product, but i don't think that's a problem
