My mum has untapped niche topic how to put it all together!

Yeh, my mum has written a book on a subject shes an expert in, there are about 4000 global searches monthly on how to do it (what shes an expert in) and its really untapped with no other competitor I can find and nothing on clickbank. The fact there arent others monetizing it I believe is not because it doesnt sell but because no one has done it before, at least on the downloadble ebook format.

So I was going to transfer it to a PDF, secure it and sign up for clickbank. Then sell it myself using some of the free organic methods and also PPC as well, and work on getting the affiliate side of things going after (Im not sure it will be a huge seller for affiliates like all the other easy sales crap on clickbank!) And I use Nitro PDF is that ok to use to convert it and secure it?

I bought an ebook the other day from a US ebook site and I had to download a new Adobe reader to read the book (adobe digital editions) it looks pretty secure like it wouldnt even let me highlight the text in it, but I suspect this format wouldnt be suitable for click bank as its not user friendly, you have to open it from the adobe program, its weird.

Im a bit wary of the copyright side of things, I mean, I know its easy to break the security on pdfs. But there are 80,000 downloadable things on clickbank, so I guess people dont really worry too much. Is there anything else I can do for my mum to register her as the copyright holder or anything? Its an ebook not a physical book so Im not sure how that works. However, we have allt he proof that she is the originator of it etc.

So any advice really appreciated guys, I want to do it right and hopefuly make her and myself a few dollars while we are at it!

I had thought of offering an upsell being another book shes written and we could put that on the click bank page as an addition or whatever.

Mt other marketing angle would be to create some autoresponder series and have her write about her topic and then try to upsell to the click bank product in the emails etc.

So many genius minds in here, what do you think?
