Question about rules on Warrior Forum

I am creating a website for selling whiteboard videos. I was wondering if I can post my link on Warrior Forum to ask people to checkout the layout and see if they can give me any tips on how to make it better. Please advise.

As long as that's the reason it should be OK. Just don't abuse it.

Thanks. I'm not finished with the site but I should be tomorrow. I'll ask for feedback then. Have a great day

Not in the main discussion forum, however, you may post it in the Website Design Forum which is here:

    Website Design

If you go to the main internet marketing forums page, you will see all the forums listed there (SEO, PPC, CPA, Offline, etc.).

    http://www.warriorforum.com/

You should get familiar with all of them so you know which is the appropriate forum to post to.

They're on the main board quite often and they are allowed to remain.

They don't stay up long when they're selling a service...

Most of the ones I see either get nuked or moved. Even so, the mods can't catch everything. These type of posts belong in the website design forum.

I think you meant to say that they get nuked frequently in the main forum.

If you didn't mean to say that, then you don't pay close enough attention.

          Here is the thing...

This forum is member moderated, and just because you and a few others were able to slip through the cracks previously doesn't mean doing such things are okay.

Now that you and others have mentioned that you have done it before, someone might go moderate your previous posts. :p

You got lucky, apparently. You might want to read this post, for the correct answer to the question you guessed wrongly: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8125917

I don't think we should be encouraging these sorts of threads.

If you want advice on a particular thing then go and ask for that advice in the relevant subforum. If you are looking for copywriting advice then post the text and ask in the copywriting forum. If you are looking for design advice then paste a screenshot of your website in the design forum.

I think too many people are now using this as a free way to get a link and traffic over to their new site.

Sure there are some legitimate requests but by allowing these threads it opens things up to a lot of abuse.

Yes it's of course okay. Warrior forum actually has a bunch of things like that. You can also post it on the thread right now.

No, it's not okay to post these in the main discussion forum, please read one of the forum's moderators response to this very issue in this thread:

You DO see a lot of people posting things that belong in other
sub-forums in the main forum. Just because they are not always
nuked, or moved, doesn't mean that it's ok.

It just means that it slipped through the cracks.

You should post in the appropriate sub-forum. One reason is
that the people who hang out in topic-specific sub-forums
often focus on those topics... so you just "might" get better
    advice there.
