Do you really enjoy your most profitable niches?

Are you really passionate about your most profitable niches or do you find yourself becoming passionate about them because they're making money for you?

Have you found your most profitable niches to be in areas you genuinely like and are good at, or have you found that Internet Marketing really sucks long term until you see some success?

Seems that so many people have trouble finding niches because they just don't want to work. Their excuse is always that they just haven't found the right niche for them(i.e. their passion).

What do you think?

I don't necessarily agree that the niche you focus on should be something you are passionate about. Let's face it, not everyone is good at the things they enjoy.

A much smarter way is to pick niches based on what you are good at. Look at your skills and knowledge and enter a market based on how you can best utilize your current skills and knowledge.

You don't have to be passionate about the niche you are in... you just need to be passionate about making money.

And the nice thing is if you're passionate about making money you can be in the make money niche LOL

OP, I might have a bit of a weird twist on things. The niche I make the most money in is something I'm very knowledgeable about. I tried sharing that knowledge, writing extremely high quality content, creating detailed yet simple step-by-step guides showing people how to make a fortune in that niche. And you know what? I made a grand total of $100 in consulting fees

So I switched gears and started churning out spammy content by the bucketful and appealing to the lowest common denominator in the niche, driving those people to a simple adsense site. And I've made $1000s.

So to answer your question. I'm passionate about a niche if it will make money.

Mamadou agree with WillR you will not enjoy any passion if you have unpaid bills and in debt!Mamadou think that the niches that people can succeed the most are the one you have a good knowledge of or you know family members ,friends that are part of that niche.Mamadou's opinion!

I agree for the passion is the enjoyable to maintain niches.

But, for me, all my niches are not my passion, and I always outsource it. I passionate about them that they're making me money.

I highly recommend reading Rich Shefren's free report called the 'Profit Prophesy' where he talks about this exact thing. He talks about building a real business around the skills that you already have. It really is the most sensible way to build a business.

Rich has consulted with many of the top IM'ers in our niche and has transformed a lot of them into multi million dollar businesses just by getting them to focus on what they are already good at and doing more and more of that.

I believe that the steps to finding your passion is as follows.

    - Pick something your good at
    - Work your ass off (this part is hard)
    - you will start getting some success and have fun
    - the more fun you have the more you will want to work on this niche
    - then it becomes a passion

    Cheers,

    Gary
