Me and my friends are currently running a forum project. We've contacted top graphic designers so we're waiting for a unique and special design! Lovely vBulletin themes are definitely not cheap but eyy, you only live once. Now we're looking for places to advertise our forum, the places has to be quality. We don't want to advertise on bad places. We're planning to spend a few hundred dollars into adwords but that's all I know. We need more places to advertise so go ahead and tell us. The forum is created for entrepreneurs.

So, what places do you recommend ?

Money is our last problem so feel free to tell us anywhere.

Not going to be an easy task..

First things first, use SEO and try to rank all your individual categories
for each of their respective keywords.

Find top sites related to your niche that don't have forum and see if you can advertise with them
or feature a page for them on your forum for compliant or their discussion.

You need more than just a forum especially when the niche has competition, you
have to give your target market reasons to visit your site, maybe news, blog or whatever.

Keep the forum active at all cost..

    Dig more.....

    Best of luck..

You made it sound like I'm trying to get traffic to convert them into sales but that is not the case. I just want to build up an active community of entrepreneurs. Anyhow, I'll take a look at the website. Money is definitely not a problem as I told earlier.

Traffic Exchanges are great. They are full of people looking to learn how to make money from beginners to those already making an online income. If money isn't an issue, you could just buy huge credit/impression packages every month and build your membership from this traffic.

I know plenty of people will disagree with me, but for the type of people you're searching for, the offer matches well with this traffic source.
