Product Creation! 100% passive income if you set it up right. I have sites that I created 4-5 years ago that still make me monthly income and I absolutely never touch them. If I did spend more time actually promoting them I would make a lot more money from them, but I just have to many sites to work on every one.

1) Intellectual Property Rental: Royalties (books, cds, DVDs, games, music, scripts...) So yes, product creation
2) Real Estate Rental: only if cash flow is positive!
3) put up vending machines (minimum labour restocking and collecting money)
4) set up a content site or membership site and monetize with ads, affiliate, or selling or own product
5) create a business system: automate what you do or outsource
6) Franchising: Set up a franchising system and sell it
And by the way MLM (Networkmarketing) does create residual income, not passive income. Successful MLMers will tell you that it is hard work. It IS passive if you own the company, though ;-)

Affiliate marketing, work your balls off and then you can slowly decrease your work time. Eventually if set up properly you can leave it on its own and have sales flowing in.

Probably PPC. But from the sounds of things, it sounds like you dont want to do any work with promoting a product/website online. Is this true?

Just break up some of your funds and invest in different forms of advertising online. Whichever is the most profitable, and has high ROI.... roll with that one. But do some free marketing too to decrease the cost of marketing and getting a customer.

I absolutely agree...product creation.. affiliate set up can be too complicated to maintain with all the changes that happen your efforts could end up with dead links...I'm also a fan of lifetime annuities

Sounds like you want to invest in stocks.

I'd invest in Royal Caribbean. The Grandeur of the Seas just had a fire, so stock prices are down. But in October, The Quantum of the Seas will come out for the first time and prices will shoot back up, probably for a good 3+ months.

That's what I'd do... if I had extra money for it. I can't afford to lose what I have now.

I think if you can find someone who is experienced in setting up websites, either for content or affiliate purposes, you could be kind of like an investor and make a return every month. No different from investing in a physical business.

Network Marketing can do it for you if you choose the right company and partner, then prepare to work hard in the beginning to set it up correctly. The investment is relatively low and if you go into it with the right attitude great things can be accomplished in a short period of time.

That's very subjective...It really depends on how you look at passive income. I really think it's pretty difficult to say that anything online is truly passive. However, the closest that you can get is to discover something that works for you and create a system to replicate and scale it. Then, you can apply that same system many times over and your income becomes more passive as you grow.

I think this only works for people alredy having significant amounts of money to invest! it just tells you what to do with your money once you have it, but what about the part where you have to earn it?

Hey,

Set and forget does not exist.

Could be bestseller at Amazon. But it's also temporary. There would be another bestseller in some time.

Shares in stocks if you are a value investor. You need just 10-15 minutes a day to maintain your portfolio. I do it. It works. Read Rule 1 by Phil Town.

Rental property, but you have to be involved from time to time e.g. repair etc.

Try outsource whatever you can in IM. Good luck.

Don't know any opportunities online that are real passive income (100 % automated)

Even offline, renting some apartment or complex will bring in passive income but you still need to spend money renovating, fixing stuff etc.. So it's not really 100% automated.

This isn't exactly Internet Marketing, but it's also something you do online with the internet

You can invest in bitcoin or litecoin mining. (or other alternative cryptocoin mining)

This is fairly easy. You just need top quality video cards (MUST BE RADEON) - 7950s are the best at the moment due to their price/mhash/second output.

Once you setup a mining rig, it pretty much runs on its own. It takes around 4 months to get your investment back, after that its pure profit. And you can always sell the hardware at 50% of what you paid for it later.

Maybe a site like Lending Club. Or stocks (even then you need to know when to sell e.t.c) However, there is nowhere and nothing that is truly passive and needs absolutely no maintenance.
