Creating Stick Figure Animations for Money? Ideas?

Hi.

I like to tinker with Flash and create simple animations just for my own entertainment. Most of the animations are very simple and involve stick figures.

Everyone likes stick figures right?

So, how can I make money creating simple stick figure animations? Do you think there is a market for this?

Just wondering.

    woWWW this is a great thread because i have been looking for someone who can do animation for me because i want to monetise the heck out of that.
    YOU see like most people i like cartoons, anything that will captivate and entertain me so

    I thought that i could entertain people and make some animation. Some interesting artistic motion pictures.

    So I have a plan: I cant draw but i will look for someone who can and then make a funny episode and put it online, use SEO to get it ranked and veiwed by people all over the world then make more episodes and start charging to advertise on the anime blog or site then make some more episodes that are better and better thus adding viewers!!!!!

      I had a similar idea.

      Unfortunately, I am not much of an artist and I can't really create any professional animations just yet. That seems like a good idea though! I am sure you can find some professional artists/animators on freelance websites.

      I just like animating stick figures; if there is a way to make money animating stick figures I would love to hear about it.

      I was thinking about creating a website where people can buy custom made stick figure animations from me. Do you think that is a good idea?

        If it was me, I'd do this:
        1. Create a simple website to put your animations on - WordPress, Blogger, etc.
        2. Create a Fiverr account offering the custom service - make this a slick production. For example, you could have the same stock animation and put user submitted photos on to the head of the stick figure.
        3. Apply for an online advertising network - Adsense should be your first choice. Put the adverts on your website in a non-intrusive way.
        4. Create a page on your website with a link to your Fiverr gig.
        5. Head on over to Reddit (and subsequently other similar websites), post your best animation using the head of someone famous (perhaps) and do what you can to get it to the front page. Make it funny!

        Result: make money through the natural advert clicks from the Reddit traffic and use the power of Reddit viral traffic to sell custom animations through Fiverr in a low overhead process.

    Thanks, the first thing that came to my mind was Fiverr. I stopped using Fiverr awhile ago but I will post a gig and see how things go.

    I think Flash can export to .GIF so I can convert the animation to .GIF as well.

    What type of animations to you think would sell?
