Product creators...how many products do you create per year?

I typically create 3-4 a year (one per quarter on average) and continue to feed other products (new revisions once per year on existing products + updating content in my membership products as well as updating private coaching materials at least twice a year).

What I would suggest is that you build a good collection of front-end, low-cost, high-demand products and then focus your attention on building value deep in your business by serving the back-end which tends to be much higher revenue and higher profit. Typically demand and customers from your front-end products will guide you to the big opportunities in the back-end.

Some vendors are cranking them out every month where as others will make a couple of solid products and focus more on promoting them.

There's some Warriors who release multiple WSO's per week...I came across one vendor who was aiming to do 10+ per month but then obviously the quality drops.

My goal is 2 per month. I think that's a doable number and products would have decent quality. Not too mention you'll have quite a lot to promote if you ever have those days when your creative well run dry.

Spot on.

When I said as many as possible, your quality of product should always still be more important than the quantity of product. No point having a ton of products if no one wants to buy them. But if you can do both and become a product creation expert then you can definitely make a lot of money.

Plenty of my customer who purchase one of my products go on to purchase 2, 4, 6, 8+ of my other products. So you can see how having more products is always going to make you more money -- provided the quality doesn't suffer.

If you know what you are doing you should be able to create 4 products in one month. First, figure out what is the simplest product to create. Recording is the answer and then you go forward from there. To explain in more detail.

There are two way to create products. Knowledge and experience. Everyone has some knowledge and if that is all you have then do it. The problem that I see is marketers tend to wait too long to start. This is not school where you have to be perfect. You just have to get started!

I do it slightly differently to most people in that i don't create products for the sake of getting a new product out.

I create 2,3 or 4 big products a year and then create related front end products that feed into them and my membership site(s).
