One of the major problems that beginners in IM have is... That they want to make the sale too fast, they want to make money NOW. I've been guilty of that. It's not good. The truth us that you should FOCUS on HELPING others to get what they want. Nobody want to be sold, everyone want results. They have something in mind, and want YOU to help them going where they want. So remember, don't sell too early (... and by the way, did you read Scientific Advertising? if not, read it TODAY). This is an easy plan that anyone can follow: 1. Don't sell (yet), do this instead: 2. Build your list, BUT... Do this right, and your tiny 500 subscribers will do better better to your bank account than a 'junk' 7000 subsribers' list. How is that? I'll give you an example if you are just getting started... 1: Write articles and submit them on EZA and other top article marketing sites Someone who optin after reading one or two of your articles is really interested in your subject, and you don't want to lose him. Ok, I hear some of you say... Yeah, Yeah, but we don't want to deal with freebies seekers. Well, there are many ways to 'monetize' freebie seekers. Let me give you an example (something I am going to implement soon): 2: Train these new subscribers for FREE Teach them how to build a site, how to get traffic to their websites Tip: just ask them what they want. DO NOT sell anything yet. In the IM niche for example, why not turning these people into your affiliates? Let them promote your products for you. You can quickly create a $7-$10 report and then teach them affiliate marketing... while they bring sales for you. It's a win win situation, you train them, they bring you sales, etc... while they learn. And when they make their first sale with you, they will NOT forget you. Then... Later on, when your list trust you, you will be able to EASILY sell them ANYTHING because... 1. They trust you 2. They know that you want to help them This is the one of the ways I know to build a highly responsive list. And traffic can come from any other sources than articles, but this is a good start. Write at least 4-5 articles per day and drive people to your squeeze page. Just tell them that you will help them to get where they want for FREE (don't forget to read Scientific Advertising), and they'll get in. Are you losing the enormous potential of your list?
