    Hi James,

Kindle is an ereader sold by Amazon.com. It is used to read e-books. When someone talks about Kindle on the Warrior Forum it usually means they are discussing making money by writing books for the Kindle.

In addition to what marketingva said, the name "Kindle" was chosen because it means "to light a fire", which the makers thought was a good metaphor for reading and intellectual excitement.

      I thought Kindle meant:

Killing Independent New-book-stores by Delivering Libraries of Ebooks

All part of the evolution toward a truly collective consciousness (or, that's one way of looking at it).

Amazon has a marketplace for digital books (ebooks) which can be read on the Kindle as well as other popular devices. It's very easy to write (or outsource) your own ebooks and then sell them on Amazon. To ensure your success, it's essential to research each niche and target those which are the most profitable. As the saying goes, find a hungry crowd and give them what they want. There are some good tools available (such as eBook Niche Explorer) which make it very easy to find profitable niches on Amazon.

      James,

If you want to see some, here is a link at Amazon that shows you the different versions.

      Kindle

No worries, this isn't an affiliate link.

It's all good! By the number of times you've been thanked, I'd say you're as good with many words as you are with a few.

Kindle has been around for quite awhile now. You've heard of Google, no? Not trying to be smart, but Google is the best place for a question of this nature.

Nah. The person asking this kind of thing wants a full information. Google search doesn't share simple explanation like this. See.

So not about 5 years doing it then? And "sort what"? Anybody can make a mistake now and then, but one like that sets off a red alert, for me at least, with respect to the copywriting product you had in your sig the first time I clicked on this thread.

(ETA: Ah I see now that the sig link is only visible to me when I'm not logged in)

If you like writing, you should learn more about Kindle ebooks because many people are making money by writing ebooks for kindle, and Amazon promotes them for you.

You can also promote them yourself. This is a good way to start making money online.

    Hi, James

1.KINDLE , IGNITE , INFLAME literally mean to set something on fire. To KINDLE is to cause something gradually to begin burning.

    2. The Kindle is an electronic. paperless reading device made by Amazon. Kindle books are versions of the books that are available only on the Kindle, so in order to read a kindle edition you MUST have a kindle.
