Is it against Clickbank's TOS to cloak your affiliate links?

I got a quick question in regards to Clickbank and cloaking affiliate links.

Needless to say, you Warriors know the important of affiliate link hijacking and the need, no - NECESSITY - of cloaking to avoid affiliate theft. Enough said on that.

My question is, is it against CB's TOS to use any means to cloak your affiliate links. I have been using Mike Filsaime's Power Link Generator to redirect my links but have been hesitant to use the cloaking feature. There has been enough written about Clickbank and their less than stellar business practices to give them any reason to withhold my hard earned commissions.

Also, if it is perfectly acceptable to using cloaking, does it adversely affect CB' ability to track affiliate sales in any way? I recall reading about that possibility somewhere.

See you at the top!

Hey Cal, why not reading clickbank tos?

A while back, they were telling that they are not responsible for potential lost with framed redirects... I use simple php redirects, and most of the time I just use my tracker links.

Anyway, you'd better read the tos man.

CB has introduced their own inhouse cloaking of your links.

But to answer your question about cloaking using some of the popular scripts it can negativly affect your conversions because CB can detect these scripts.

Simple redirect scripts seem to work fine but the ones that offer "stealth" mode or "masked framed" Seem to be disregarded from CB.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I really appreciate it.

From what I gather is that I should stick to the tried and true, old fashioned redirect script.

yeah clickbank say that you must have it so that when the visitor lands on the vendor page the proper website address must be showing ... but whatever you do to cloak your link before that is perfectly allowed, and in fact, they encourage it

What is Clickbank's Problem With Cloaking Your Affiliate Links? I mean I have so many link cloakers on my desktop. I've bought these link cloakers for the purpose of protecting my affiliate links and it's against their policy? I've seen that new Clickbank Hopshield but all that does is mask your affiliate link and expose your affiliate username. Where can I find Clickbank's TOS?

The cloakers I have is Perry Wolf's Covert Links and my good friend Harvey Segal referred me there.

I have Gabor Olah's Affiliate Profit Linker

I have Waihon Yew's My Affiliate Assistant.

Now when I was apart of John Hostler's Renegade Affiliates Monthly program he rewrote sales letters for products on Clickbank. He gave us the sales letters he written for the products. One of the products was Dennis Becker's 5 Bucks A Day.

I've cloaked the order link. Would that be consider against their TOS?
