What are the legal issues of internet marketing?

I want to create an online business that operates mainly on the internet at the beginning, but as the business grows, i want to be able to expand further into a full grown business. (having offices, a headquarter etc)

Does anyone know what laws are applying to this?

Thanks.

We would most likely need to know what your business is about, before we can advise you about "legal issues". Your question seems vague or too broad.

An online business could be simplistic and straightforward, while it can also be complex and full of uncertainties.

You may not want to share much information about your business plans publicly at this point, but you would need to give a little more background on what you are planning to do, to be able to receive useful advice.

Get an LLC, so you can protect your assets.

Avoid ALL INCOME CLAIMS, and ALL TESTIMONIALS.

The FTC regulations for these two things are always changing so I avoid them all together.

    Be honest, and never lie.

PS: If you're serious, get a lawyer!!! (but you already know that, and I understand you're just testing the water).
