Tracking banner ads with Prosper202 [banner -> landing page -> sales page] NEED HELP

This prosper202 thing makes my head spin... And I'm not new to tracking.

Ok, so I want to track my sales and conversion with prosper202 and it are sales as an ClickBank affiliate I want to track.

Here's my funnel:

Banner on another site (regular HTML banner, no PPC nor hosted through an ad network) -> landing page where I link to the sales page with my ClickBank affiliate link -> sales page.

Anyone with experience in Prosper202 that wants to help me here? How can I track my sales and conversions?

Thanks!

    Hi Jimmy,

Clickbank conversions are a little bit trickier to track than conversions on your CPA network. It can certainly be done though.

First thing you'll need to do is go to step 3 of your campaign setup. In your affiliate link, you'll need to make sure you're passing the subid information. To do that, simply add the [[sibid]] tag to the end of your affiliate link from Clickbank, so that it sits right after the "&tid=" variable. This way Prosper202 will assign an ID to every click, and it will pass that information along to Clickbank in the form of a subid. When a sale takes place, the subid information will be available in your Clickbank reports, under Reporting => Transactions.

Next, you'll want to bring that conversion data back into Prosper202. From the Transactions tab, you'll want to copy all the information that appears in the TID column. Then, go ahead and paste them into the Update tab in Prosper 202. These will tell Prosper which clicks converted for you, and you'll be able to see that information in your reports.

Thanks Sheldon! I'll watch your video, implement this and see if it works (which it probably does).
