EZA : 2,371 Views, Where Is Are The Views Coming From?

I submitted an article to Eza and the article was published 01/22/2009 but surprisely I have 2,371 views and 420 url clicks.

Surprisely, the article is not on the first 3 pages of google for it keywords. Where could the traffic be coming from?

You must have got into the 'Most Viewed' section at some stage. It's very possible to get that many views from EZA alone.

If it is not on the 1st page of Google then it must have been popular on their home page.

There is a feature in your EZA account where you can see if it is getting search traffic maybe for a keyword you didn't expect.

1. Go to Author Tools
2. Click on "View My Article Reports"
3. Select the Author's Name
4. This will show you a list of articles with view counts out to the right.
5. Click on the number of view counts.
6. Now you will see a graph and a view count by month
7. Click on "Traffic Search Terms" to see any keyword data your articles are producing.

Maybe this will help. Otherwise, maybe it is just internal EZA traffic or someone link to your article from a popular forum or social networking site.

Thats why I use hubpages or others that allow me to embed my analitics code in it plus I get adsense money as well amazon clicks from related books to the article. Go to Keyword Density Tool then find your top keywords. You can also check with your title to see where it ranks and back links. From there hope that helps

The article is ranked page 2 ( position 15) and page 2 ( position 11 almost page 1 ) for the 2 major keywords.

If the traffic is coming from Ezinearticles, does it mean fellow webmaster or IM'ers are the one viewing the articles? How do I find out if the article has been published by another webmaster or a blogger?

try copyscape or any other copy protector program out there and run your article in it to see if it was copied
