The $64,000 Question for 2009

We all see the flood of offers from various marketers--many are very interesting. The question I have pertains to e-books. Can you still create an e-book and market it and make any real money selling it?

If you were dropped off in a strange town, no friends, no contacts and $500 could you create a project from scratch (an ebook project) and use that money to market it, or what ever magic you work? Can it be done legally? Is it a real possibility, not a pie in the sky hope?

Interested "wantabe" in Okie territory.

Absolutely. Without question. No doubt.

And here's why: People will ALWAYS look for solutions. An ebook is just one way to deliver a solution. Sure, plenty of people aren't running around looking for "ebooks" -- but you can bet your bippy that they're looking for solutions to their most pressing problems.

So here's what I'm thinking: Instead of asking, "Can I make money with an ebook?" Ask, "What types of solutions are hungry markets looking for? What kinds of solutions are they already buying?"

Answer that, deliver the solution via an ebook, and you'll have a killer product on your hands.

I could do it without spending the $500.. Actually, I do it all the time and it costs me $10 for a domain... I have my own reseller hosting account and have it all to myself, then I don't have to worry about spending a lot of dough to test ideas, etc...
