Do I need to pay for hosting fee's through godaddy if I want to mask my domain as well as forward it? Or can I just buy it for 9$ and thats it? |

It's just $9, look for URL forwarding or URL redirection within GoDaddy..if not, check out NameCheap =)

They'll both work just fine for what you're doing. |

Most of the registrars are offering 'Domain forwarding service' for free. So ask your registrar on how to forward your domain. I am sure they will provide you a technical guide to do this. . |

Ethan, I know that this is not directly in answer to your question BUT ... Never EVER, register your domain name with the same company that you have yourweb hosting with. This is just for future reference. Always "point" your domains from your registrar to your host's server. No need to concern yourself with the reason why for now. Not sure though why you are considering masking your domain though. Good luck with your ventures, Regards, Jeff Henshaw. |
