HOW MUCH COULD I SELL THIS FOR?

Hi everybody.

I have had this blog for quite a while now.

It was something that i started and never really had the time for.

I have had it valued at around $1100. Could this be true?

I am wanting to sell it and have been told that I can.

  They said it would be priced at that level as it is a good doamin. Even tho it is a blogspot domain in the first place lol.
  
  Apparently it is possible to sell a blogspot domain.

  Yeah, it's possible to sell your blogspot domain with those contents if you were selling it to Borat and friends. Heh.

  Offer it to that somebody for $1,000. If they think it's worth $1,100, they should be able to flip that site quickly and pocket $100.

  This is the IM world where VRE is a very hot market... you actually COULD sell this for something. Might even be easy so long as it's not hooked to a gmail account you use for everything else.
  
  I'd toss in some extra content then hit the thing with a bunch of high PR directory links.
  
  Lob in a few affiliate links for good measure... and as soon as you hit PR 2 or 3
  toss the stupid thing onto sitepoint and see who bites.
  
  People will buy anything these days if it looks like there may be some value.
  
  Just a thought... hey, if people can sell a Squidoo lens, why not a blogger blog?

  There are a lot of variables when it comes to selling websites.
  
  A major factor is WHO you are selling to.
  
  For instance...
  
  How much would you pay for a glass of water at home?
  
  How much would you pay for a glass of water if you were lost in a desert?
  
  Other factors may include:
  
  How much does the site make?
  Where does the cashflow come from (Adsense? Product sales? Affiliate income?)?
  Do you have a list?
  Do you have any other assets that come with the site?
  
  Any cookie-cutter estimate of price should be taken with a grain of salt.
