From receptionist to social media manager in 3 months - is that possible?

Hey there,

I'm just throwing this out to see if it's happened to anyone.

Even though most of us are here to get AWAY from our jobs, has anyone ever used what they've learned on WF to improve their career, or move 'up the ladder' within your current job?

You could use a lot of things from here to get a better job within a company, especially on the marketing side of things.

Anyone tried this? How's it worked out for you?

Thanks,
Nathan

Well for me....I graduated from California State University of Long Beach as a communication degree. Why? Who knows, just so I can get a degree for my mom and dad.

After I graduated, I didn't work for two years. All I did was...go on the WF and learn. And the WF lead me to an Internet Marketing job as an SEO - Link Builder for a CLOTHING company. Great pay and benefits, and I've learned MORE stuff that I can apply for my business.

    Best thing ever .

      Hey GGpaul,

That's a GREAT story! I knew there were people doing this! And although I bet that communication degree has helped, it sounds like WF helped WAY more!

If you really apply yourself, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE. People are born unstoppable. Sadly, they listen to haters and negative people and they LIMIT themselves. Rising up the ranks through sheer pluck and hard work is doable. Don't let fear or pride get in the way of you living up to your full potential.
