Do you prefer Wordpress or normal html sites?

For me, I use XSitePro to promote CPA offers and digital products like those from Market Health and Clickbank and Wordpress to promote physical products like those from Amazon and CJ.

Compared with Wordpress, I find XSitePro to be much more user friendly and easier to use since everything I need is in place as compared to Wordpress whereby I need to source and install several different plugins. That includes cloaking my affiliate links.

Same with Blogger which I used when I first started out in IM in 2008.

I much prefer Wordpress, the flexibility and power is awesome. And a lot easier to update than HTML.

But, if you're doing things that need fast light pages (perhaps high traffic, or fast load time for thinsgs like interstitial ads) I don't think Wordpress is the best solution.

In terms of SEO, a wordpress is a much better solution since big G really loved wordpress. It is the better option if you plan to create a sute rich of content.

For a static page i.e. squeeze pages or simple landing pages you would be better off with a HTML page, even though there are also beautiful landing and squeeze page templates for wordpress.

    Kindest regards

Sorry, but that's far from the truth!

Google loves sites that have clean code and runs superfast. If it's hardcoded or CMS like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, or any other doesn't matter.

That being said, Wordpress is awesome if your not a codemonkey and the UI is fabulous.

I've had XSP for 3 years but never used it that much.
Recently i've been using it more often for Aff sites and i must say
the results have been extremely good.
It's very well coded and easy to use compared to Webplus X6 and others, also you
don't have to worry about constant updating or hacking...

  • I have divided my approach in 2 parts:
    1) My main website is a HTML site which is customized from SEO perspective. This was a one time effort and I am not going to make many (major) changes to it.
    2) My Blog - linked with my website is wordpress blog. I make several changes, post content etc and has wonderful SEO tools and also responsive.

This approach has helped me alot since I get coverage from both sides. My blog got more content hence wordpress is far more suitable for me, especially when I got not tech background in coding etc.

I prefer Wordpress. It's very flexible and easy to use and manage. You don't have to create a webpage and then upload it using FTP or cPanel. Just click on"Publish" and that's it.

There are lots of things you can do with WordPress that's almost not possible with HTML sites. And if you're updating your site frequently it's much easier to use WP than to create lots of pages with HTML.

Though I use Dreamweaver to edit some sales & squeeze pages, 90% I use WP. And I love it!

My questions is, have any of you actually tried WYSIG site builders
    like XSP to compare?
