I will preface this post by saying I don't care about my lens rank...However..

I just had a lens that in one day went from being ranked #76 in business and #2504 overall to #569 in business and #15,045 overall without me making a single change to it!

That seems like an extreme change to me. Has anybody else exerienced this?

Hmmn, interesting. I've noticed a drop in mine as well. I guess we need to rethink our approach and see what must be done differently to get back up there again.

I was ranked 10th in the work at home category for 2 weeks one time and I didn't even receive a significant amount of traffic from squidoo, so I don't really care, you can check the health of lens to see what needs to be changed

If your traffic is the same why worry about it?

    Go make some more lenses!

The Lensrank calculation was stuck for a whole week, and was only just fixed yesterday. This would be why your lens suddenly jumped instead of gradually sliding like it would have done.

There are things that can help improve your Lensrank (e.g. traffic, ratings, clickouts), but it isn't really important for the success of a lens. If your lens is attracting traffic and converting it to clicks and/or sales, then you don't care what the Lensrank is.

Also check the advice from the Lens Health Check Tool.
