How hard will it be to rank for kw - seo services?

Hello Warriors,

I do not do SEO professionally but I have it in my blood to keep doing research with some little things. Now I am planning to take on a keyword which looks quite tough at the moment.

I know it is year 2013 and many google birds already out there, is it possible to rank for SEO Services keyword.

What I am NOT doing and will not do is build any backlinks or hire someone to do link building, forums, blog commenting link pyramids and all that crap. I really am not a great fan of all these BS.

The domain is PR4 with DA-47 and PA 56 and is full of crap at the moment. It is a 2 word domain with seo being one of them.

What I am planning to do is use videos, images, opt in forms, google analytics and couple more [someone here will definitely give an idea] things.

I have a time frame of about 6 months and if I reach top 50 [NOT ranked in top 1000 ATM] then I will continue my efforts.

I am taking it as just any other challenge and will spare approx 3-4 hours a week.

If someone insists then I will put the name of the test domain here in the thread to make an open test case, else I will prefer to keep it confidential.
