Selling Clickbank Products In Countries Other Then The USA

I have a New Zealand site which attracts 98% kiwis. It gets 100 UV a day all from the search engines.

After leaving it alone for a few months, I realized how stupid I was to not have an email list (even though it's not too targeting). Once I set it up; giving away a free report to entice people, it got a steady amount of subscribers (3 a day).

Now how will I monetize the list? Affiliate offers, and later on, my own physical product.

There's only one problem - affiliate offers in New Zealand are pathetic. There are hardly any, and the ones that do offer a reasonable % won't convert.

So I feel my best bet at the moment is to recommend Clickbank products. But that comes with another problem - the exchange rate. A $69.95usd product converts to $93.59nzd. I feel as though that will hurt the conversion rate; maybe to the point where I make no sales.

Do any warriors have suggestions?

The niche is weight loss, but my site is a directory which caters to more niches then weight loss.

Why not sell supplements instead? There are a few programs that pay well. Recurring, too.

Yeah, that was I was thinking, too. But very few New Zealanders buy supplements from outside countries. They choose to buy (including me) from NZ sites, such as: punchsupplements, sportsfuel and shotgunsupplements. None of them have an active affiliate system.

Overweight people are just like everyone else. They like fashion, makeup, skin products etc... They also have diabetes, and a bunch of other problems. Many are insecure, depressed, afraid to loose their jobs, marriage, boyfriends? They want to save money.
Considering that, why not offer a list of CPA offers? Just go to Offervault and take a look. A bunch of offers don't have to cost anything, like coupons and email-submits
Find 5 or 6 and list it in your website.

Bear in mind, though, that if you have returning traffic, it can decline significantly when you do this, because you come across to some as "just a marketer". Test gently!

Test, rather than feeling, perhaps? But if you think it's going to be a terribly price-sensitive issue (I find they're often not), there are plenty of $27 and $37 products, too: you don't need to start with something that's $67.

With apologies for sounding less than fully enthusiastic about the idea, it's important to appreciate that it's terribly difficult to sell products like that "off the page" (but not typically because of their prices, as this is equally true of the cheaper ones!) - they're products one really sells to "subscribers" rather than to "visitors" - and there are reasons for that: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

No it won't. You would be surprised to know that people have no problem with spending that much if they see the real solution to their problem and feel that this product can solve their weight loss problem.

A lot of affiliates think that someone will be willing to pay $30 for a product and not $100. That is the wrong way of thinking.
