Godaddy Wordpress and Technorati

I've finally installed wp on a hosted domain

I've been kickin butt with free blogspot and wordpress.com blogs and haven't seen the need to spend money until now.

I just tried to add my wordpress blog to Technorati and Technorati is saying the url is not acceptable ????

Perhaps Godaddy uses an iframe or some kind of redirect?

Like to the Internet At Large my blogs' URL is AED Program Store

but to technorati it is really http://aedprogramsstore.com/blog

or something to that effect? Like perhaps I should have not installed wp in the root directory?

Or is it that technorati doesn't like Godaddy hosted blogs?

Thanks in advance

There's not a problem between Technorati and GoDaddy Hosting to my knowledge. I've got about 10 blogs there and they're all picked up by Technorati. I haven't added any new blogs there in over a year (my new blogs are on Host Gator or Host Nine) so things could have changed but I wouldn't think so.

They may not like the 'store' in your URL and may think that you're an ecommerce site and not a real blog. Email them and see what they say.

    Hi David,

Technorati have no problems with GoDaddy. Basically, if your blog is on blogspot.com or wordpress.com, It's easy to add to technorati.

But if you use your own domain, you must have enough content and enough authority. If your blog is new and you submit it, they will mark your blog on their system. It's better to build more contents and get some authority (ping from another blogs that already listed on technorati) before adding the blog

    All the best,
    Ayaw
